Sommer and Patrick’s Wedding at the Glenn Venue

Sommer and Patrick are an easy going couple and wanted a chill rustic vibe for their fall wedding. They chose the Glenn Venue with it’s sprawling grounds and historic houses filled with antiques. Instead of a traditional meal, the couple opted for their favorite food trucks serving tacos and ice cream. Their Jenga guest book was a huge hit and guests enjoyed writing their well wishes while trying not to topple the tower. The tower eventually fell during the party to cheers all around. Since Sommer had a long walk from the house to the ceremony site, she wanted a unique piece to signal the beginning of her entrance. We created a custom doorway for her from our vintage collection. It was great hearing the guests comment on the doors throughout the evening, they probably didn’t suspect it was placed by the photographers ;o) We had a great time capturing this sweet couple and hope you enjoy these images from their perfect Floridian day!

Tori and Patrick’s Winter Park Wedding

We first met Tori at another wedding we had the honor of photographing. We were thrilled when she enjoyed her friend’s images so much that she contacted us about shooting her very own wedding in Winter Park, and at the beautiful Casa Feliz no less. Her and her fiance Patrick were wed at a morning mass and wanted us to capture some romantic photos of them at their venue, the pretty details and all of the reception fun to follow. Though we had everything from scorching heat in the afternoon to an evening thunderstorm they braved it all and made the most of their special day. Grandparents were represented with a sweet moment of  Tori holding her parent’s wedding photo and her Mother holding Tori’s Grandparent’s wedding photo. The name of Tori’s Grandfather was also sewn into the slip of her skirt. The couple exited to bubbles and enjoyed a farewell brunch the following day. Sending lots of love to the happy couple!

Sara and John’s St. Augustine Wedding

Sara and John chose some iconic St. Augustine landmarks for their late Summer wedding. Beginning with some preparations at the Casa Monica hotel and Bella Bay Bed and Breakfast, followed by a first look and portraits at the Lightner Museum gardens, a beautiful and classic ceremony  at the Basilica, and finally a reception among the brick walls, candle light and rooftop view of the White Room. The awesome part (besides the eye candy at each spot) is that it was all in walking distance! Sara looked radiant in her lace Rivini gown. One of my favorite moments was when they started practicing their first dance right after their first look. They wanted to get the dance right for the reception but it was a sweet moment watching their affection and excitement. We enjoyed being a part of their special day.
