Here is the second installment as promised! For this segment we focused on some family playtime vs the previous more stylized segment. We finished up with a cake smash since this was just a week before baby’s first birthday. She really dug in. Happy Birthday little one!

For this sweet shoot we ventured out to Palatka and Ravine Gardens State Park. We wanted a European flair to this tea party and were inspired by the pergola tunnel at the gardens. We then came up with our French Garden theme complete with Toile accents. We used vintage tea cups, pink depression glass plates, and toile napkins for the table. A vintage french mailbox filled with begonias, roses and fragrant hyacinth also adorned the table. The place settings included cards that read “bonne mere,” French for “loving Mother” and “fille cherie” French for “darling Daughter.” For this segment we focused on the Mother/Daughter time and squeezed in some Maternity portraits as well with the Mom-to-be due with her baby boy later this Spring. Later we were able to capture some playtime with Dad, family photos, and a cake smash so stay tuned for the next installment!
