Laura and Mike Hitched: Cummer Museum Wedding

Laura and Mike were so chill on their wedding day. If things ran long or didn’t go 100% as expected they just rolled with it. Their easy going attitude meant that they could focus their energies on enjoying their day to the fullest instead of stressing and their joy is evident in their images.  The are a fun couple, and wanted that infused in their party down to the funfetti wedding cake! (Those cake truffles were to-die-for by the way.) They had a beautiful ceremony and reception at the Cummer Museum and Gardens in Jacksonville. Congratulations to Laura and Mike!

Audrey and Spencer Engaged: Part Two

We were blessed with a rain shower right after we started shooting so we had to run back to our cars and wait for an opening. Just when we thought it wasn’t going to happen, the skies opened up and rewarded us with some beautiful light. Audrey and Spencer were patient and hopped right back to it for those last few photos. They will be married this spring at the Ribault club.

Audrey and Spencer Engaged: Part One

My original concept  for this engagement session was “Southern Sweet Tea” since Audrey and Spencer were coming back to the South to get married (they currently live in Washington DC.) However, when they shared that they don’t drink sweet tea (crazy right?  :o) it turned into a Lemonade themed shoot which worked our perfectly. Despite the rainy day, we had fun with our props (Audrey didn’t know Spencer could juggle) and included their adorable dog Duffy (flown in for the shoot!) One of their favorite parts was getting to eat some yummy lemon cakes. We also did a second segment at the marina to represent the fact that they met in the Navy so stay tuned for part two.
