Kate’s Nursery is Done!

We are expecting our first child any day now and I finally finished her nursery. I thought I would share all the fun details with you. I started off with the mint green walls from our former guest room and went from there. I wanted to do nuetral silvers, whites, creams and greys with slight bits of yellow but the yellow took off a bit more after we found out we were having a girl. I really didn’t have a particular theme but I wanted a mix of contemporary and vintage and you can see how it all came together. You can find my sources below the post. A couple of pesky Beagles made their way into the shots also. Hope you enjoy!

6th Anniversary: Flowers and Cake

There are two things I always like receiving: pretty fresh flowers and cake. I love me some cake. We recently celebrated our 6th anniversary and Andy bought me some hydrangeas, daisies, mums, etc and we ordered an almond cake with amaretto buttercream (yum!) from Sugar Rush Confections. They were both so pretty I couldn’t resist doing a little photo shoot ;o)
