Where do we start with these two? We loved them from the first day we met in Starbucks in Ponte Vedra. They were so easy going, loved our style and were a perfect match for us. We had a great time photographing their Atlantic Beach Engagement Session (found here and here) as well as their rehearsal dinner at the Ponte Vedra Inn and Club. Jon and Jess are very kind and considerate people and that really showed in all of the personal touches on their wedding day. Jon sketched the themed seating cards, table signs and thank you gift tags himself. Each table was named after a part of their journey together. For instance, he proposed on Thanksgiving so he sketched a turkey and named one of the tables Thanksgiving. The table sign then told the story of the proposal. They provided not only lots of live entertainment for their guests, from the cocktail hour to the reception, but also a photo booth, crazy good food, and late night munchies of mini burgers and fries. The tables were decorated with starfish, seashells, branches, purple orchids, and other flowers in bright shades or orange and green. Each groomsman had a different flower on their lapel and each bridesmaid had their own flower bouquets made up of flowers from the Bride’s bouquet. The couple ended the evening by running through a tunnel of sparklers and into their getaway golf cart. It was a beautiful wedding for a beautiful couple, inside and out! Courtney and Truman (a.k.a. Pepper) are an adorable couple who met at school where they are both teachers. It is so neat to see other couples who get to work together like Andy and I do. They were so laid back and were truly just happy to be getting married. The wedding took place on the beach at the Omni Plantation on Amelia Island and the reception was held at Walker’s Landing. The beautiful flowers were crafted by Artistic Florist. I think our favorite part of the day was finally getting the couple alone in the beautiful surroundings at Walker’s Landing and watching them interact more intimately with each other as husband and wife. Congratulations you two! |
