Worden Family Session: Jacksonville Beach Photographers

I have been meaning to post this session for a long time so I’m happy to finally share it with you. Some friends of ours were visiting from the Atlanta area this past summer and wanted to fit in a family session. They were up for anything so they let me have free reign over the concept and styling. I am a sucker for nautical shoots and hadn’t done a full nautical family session yet. To make it not too over the top, we added some non-nautical props in nautical colors like balloons, lemons and strawberries, and later added in some cupcakes at the marina. The evening we had scheduled to shoot (the day before they were driving home) came along with some stormy skies and rain. We waited out the rain as long as possible but then had limited time to shoot before we lost all of our light. Despite the less than ideal conditions they were ready to brave it and the result is some family fun, soft light and pops of color. We had a great time!

Nicole and Phil Engaged: St. Augustine Engagement Session

Nicole and Phil are both from the Ponte Vedra area so they wanted to stay pretty close to home for their engagement session. Their favorite things to do are drink red wine together in the evenings at home and play with their dog Murphy. So for the first part of their session we had a wine picnic at Mickler’s beach. It was a windy sunrise but they were good sports ;o) Nicole even made hand stamped glass charms reading “to have” and “to hold.” Super cute.  Next we headed to St. George Street in St. Augustine where we met up with Nicole’s twin Sister who was our Murphy handler. After some shots with Murphy and around St. George Street, we finished up at the Fort. We had a lot of fun with these two easy going peoples and are looking forward to their wedding coming up at Palm Valley Gardens.
